All of our short courses are delivered and supported by our experienced and professional Teaching and Learning Coaches who support you to gain the skills you need to develop your career.

Health and social care short courses
Our social care and health short courses for individuals or groups meet the National Minimum Standards for care and can be accredited or ‘in-house’ certified.
All of our short courses are bespoke to your situation and training needs, meaning that we can weave your own ways of working and policies into the course content.

FREE Training for Adults
Training Now have recently been awarded funding from the Adult Education Budget to deliver training, up to and including Level 2, to people aged 19+. This also includes additional learning support for people who may have barriers to attending learning sessions, for example travel or childcare.
This externally funded learning and development opportunity means that you can develop the knowledge and skills needed for your role independent of your employer.
Our funded courses are completely free to you as a learner, and are a perfect stepping stone into the higher-level apprenticeships; tailored to equip individuals working in Health and Social Care with first tier qualifications.

How long are our health and social care courses?
All of our health and social care courses are bespoke and are designed to meet your training needs while also suiting your schedule.
Short courses can be as long as half a day to a full week, or as refresher training.

Are all our courses classroom-based?
All of our short courses (apart from moving and positioning) can be delivered as e-learning, distance study or in a training room.
Once registered for a course, we will help you decide how you would like to learn and what method of learning best suits your situation.
As a national training provider, we have training rooms across England, meaning you can receive face to face learning near to you. Alternatively, one of our Teaching and Learning Coaches can come to you, using a space at your place of work yo deliver the training.

Certificates and awards
As well as short courses, we also provide a range of certificates and awards designed to enhance your skills, experience and employability.
Our social care, education and business certificates and awards can be delivered online or in person. Once enrolled, you will be contacted by a Teaching and Learning Coach who is there to support you throughout your learning.
Many of our certificates and awards are accredited with an external awarding body.
